Sunroof glass is a sealing job, not just a glass job

Anyone can drop a panel into an opening. What determines whether you are back next winter with a wet headliner is the seal, the drain channels, and whether the panel sits flush in its tracks at both ends of travel.

We replace the perimeter seal with the glass, clear the four corner drains that carry water down the A and C pillars, and cycle the roof through its full range to confirm the panel seats evenly and the tilt and slide functions are correct.

Parts and timing

Sunroof panels are more often ordered than stocked, especially panoramic glass, so plan on a day or two for the part on most vehicles. We will confirm availability by VIN when you call and give you a real date rather than a hopeful one.
